By Greg Bensinger Jan 28 (Reuters) - Amazon confirmed 16,000 corporate job cuts on Wednesday, completing a plan for around 30,000 since October, while leaving open the possibility of further reductions.
On Feb. 5, Amazon is scheduled to release its operating results for the fourth quarter of 2025, which will give investors a fresh update on how AI is impacting the company's booming cloud computing and e-commerce businesses.
Amazon is slashing about 16,000 corporate jobs in the second round of mass layoffs for the ecommerce company in three months.
Nationwide will have access to artificial intelligence-powered tools to help staff in their everyday interactions with its members.
The e-commerce giant has been cutting costs while pouring resources into building data centers to compete in the race to dominate artificial intelligence.
