LINCOLN CITY, Ore. (KOIN) — From the Cascades to the coast, we are wrapping up the work week with some of the nicest weather in a long time across the Pacific Northwest. Temperatures on Friday afternoon were in the low 60s along the coastline under a warm easterly offshore wind.
Oregon’s weather is forecast to stay wet but without major impacts to travel around Thanksgiving, according to meteorologists. Snow could become an issue in the Cascade Mountains but most likely beginning Black Friday and pushing into the weekend.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Higher elevations of the Oregon Coast Range saw a light dusting of snow early Friday morning. Highway 26 near the Sunset Summit rest area (1,400ft. elevation) is one such area. The snow quickly melted off as the day progressed.
