The Pyjama Foundation is urgently asking Cairns locals to volunteer one hour a week to mentor children in foster care to help improve their literacy and numeracy skills.
It was the Pyjama Foundation's largest fundraising event, National Pyjama Day. Across the region hundreds of office workers and school kids banded together to raise money for children in foster care.
