History can be symbolised in small objects. ⚓ We built the Anzac class frigates and a ceremonial axe and block were used to launch each of the 10 ships (eight for Australia and two for New Zealand). Much like breaking a champagne bottle over the bow, this nautical tradition blessed each vessel with good luck for the decades of service that followed. 🚢 As part of #NavyWeek, we’re looking back at our collaborations with the #AusNavy.
