Is this the only Mash Tun Bar in Scotland? We attended the launch of Blair Athol Distillery, #Pitlochry new bar, made from a mash tun. During the #whisky distilling process, the mash tun (or tub) is filled with grist, and boiling water then stirred in order to help the extraction of sugar from the barley to the water.
