Cybotron — “Clear” (1983) 🎶 Long before house and techno became global movements, there was Cybotron. Their 1983 track “Clear” is one of the most influential records in electronic music history, even if many people don’t realize it. Produced by Juan Atkins (often called The Godfather of Techno) and Richard “3070” Davis in Detroit, “Clear” blended futuristic synths, driving drum machines, and a hypnotic groove that sounded like nothing else at the time.
