How is it already mid-February?! We’re still thinking about 2023… and all of the amazing #Landsat science it entailed! Last year, the Landsat program revealed a rising trend in river mining worldwide, analyzed 30 years of water levels, improved models of the impacts of rising temperatures, and more. Now, the Landsat team is looking to what’s next: Landsat Next! Expected to launch no earlier than 2030, Landsat Next will continue the program’s legacy of studying Earth from space for over 50 years.
